02 — ASPEN BLOOM
Building a Brand Before It Existed
3 min read

The Challenge
Aspen Bloom was being built from the ground up. There was no established brand identity, communication framework, digital ecosystem, or admissions journey for parents to move through. The challenge was therefore bigger than creating individual marketing assets. The brand needed to answer fundamental questions:
What should Aspen Bloom stand for? Why should parents trust it? How should it sound and look? How should parents discover, understand, and engage with it? And most importantly, how could every interaction — from the website and social media to admissions communication and on-campus experiences — feel like the same brand?
Consultant — Marketing & Communications
Aspen Bloom was a new preschool brand that needed more than a logo and a website. It needed a complete identity, a clear position, a parent-facing voice, and the communication systems to take the brand from concept to launch.
I worked across strategy, branding, content, digital, admissions, social media, creative direction, and marketing to build that foundation.
The Approach
I approached Aspen Bloom as a brand ecosystem — connecting strategy, identity, content, digital, and admissions from the ground up.
Brand Messaging & Positioning
Defined the brand story, positioning, audience, and messaging framework.
Admissions & Parent Communication
Created parent-focused messaging, enquiry touchpoints, and admissions campaigns.
Content Strategy & Systems
Built content pillars, calendars, campaigns, social strategy, and ongoing content frameworks.
Website & Digital Experience
Planned the website structure, content, SEO, forms, and digital presence.
Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Built the visual identity, guidelines, mockups, and brand applications.
Marketing Collateral
Developed billboards, standees, banners, print assets, parent materials, and campaign creatives.
